Understanding America Study Exposome Database
The UAS Exposome Database is a collection of user-friendly datasets that enable researchers to study the impact of physical, social, and policy environments on UAS respondents. UAS data users with access to the UAS enclave can request linkage of selected variables of these datasets to individual UAS respondents.
The database is continually updated with new datasets. If you have a dataset you would like to be added, let us know at
If you just want to download exposome data from this website and not link these to
information to individual UAS respondents, you can skip the steps below and just
download the dataset to your computer after registering as a UAS data user.
- Step 1: Register using the UAS Data Linkage Enclave. Instructions are found here.
- Step 2: Sign in on this page in the right top corner and select the variables on exposome.usc.edu that you want to link and add these to the shopping cart
- Step 3: Select the years to be included in the export file and choose ‘Add data to
enclave queue’.
You will receive an email message when the data is transferred to your workspace in the enclave. This dataset can be linked to the UAS data respondent id. - Step 4: Access your Data Linkage workspace to begin your analysis.
Our Aims
- Share open-access resources and products with the wider research community.
- Create guidance for utilizing exposome data.
- Connect open-access resources directly to UAS respondents for use in our enclave.
